Emma
Emma is the Pre-School Manager. She holds a Level 6 BA Degree in ‘Professional Studies in Learning and Development’ and is also an Early Years Teacher (EYT). Emma is the designated safeguarding lead at Scamps. Emma has many years of experience working with babies and children aged 0-5 years and is also a mother to one daughter. She is a calm and caring individual who puts the children at the heart of everything she does. Whilst Emma’s role involves several office-based tasks, she loves to be hands-on in the playrooms at any opportunity. She is extremely passionate about ensuring every child is included and making good progress in the Pre-School.

Suzanne
Suzanne shares the Deputy Manager role with Lynne. She holds a Level 3 NVQ in ‘Early Years Care and Education’. Suzanne is also the deputy safeguarding lead at Scamps. Suzanne started her journey at Scamps over 20 years ago when she started on the parent rota. She is a proud mum to three daughters and has one grandson. Suzanne is passionate about helping children to learn about number and shape and enjoys cooking with them. She is the in-house expert at making playdough and the children love getting involved in this.

Vicky
Vicky is an Early Years Teacher (EYT). She also holds a Level 6 BA Degree in ‘Professional Studies in Learning and Development’. Vicky is responsible for our programme of support for children’s personal, social, and emotional development - including issues concerning behaviour. Vicky has been looking after children aged 0-5 years for over 15 years and is a proud mum to her two boys. Her approach is always led by the children and her calm and friendly nature attracts them to her. Vicky is passionate about ensuring all children are given opportunities to make good progress and are included within the setting.
Bex
Bex is our Pre-School practitioner and she holds a Level 3 NVQ in ‘Early Years Care and Education’. Bex is a proud mother of two boys and has many years of experience caring for children aged 0-5 years. Bex’s fun and happy character is infectious to those around her and she is often responsible for making everyone around her smile and laugh with her great sense of humour. The children love to spend their time having fun with Bex. Bex is our junk modelling queen and the children love to build and create with her.

Lynne
Lynne shares the Deputy Manager role at Scamps with Suzanne and is also the Pre-School’s Inclusion Co-ordinator (INCO). Lynne holds a Level 3 Diploma in ‘Early Learning and Childcare’ and has many years of working at Scamps, beginning her journey here over 20 years ago when she started on the parent rota. Lynne brings her experience – both as a practitioner and a grandparent – and enjoys providing stimulating and fun activities for the children. Lynne has a wealth of knowledge around special educational needs and loves to take part in dancing activities with the children. She is also fond of putting story sacks together and sharing them with the children.
